Tea is a national treasure, either enjoyed as the perfect morning pick-me-up, an essential component of catch-up chats or a ‘hug in a mug’ when you need it most. With Brits consuming around 60 billion cups per year, there are bound to be some spillages – whether on a white shirt at work or at home on your upholstery. Thankfully with our range of Vanish products, there’s something to treat every type of tea stain.

How to remove tea stains from coloured clothes

To remove tea stains from coloured clothes, try to treat the garment right away, rather than letting it dry. Take a clean, damp paper towel or cloth and dab the stain until you have removed as much as possible. Make sure you dab — rubbing will only worsen the stain.
