How to remove tea stains from coloured clothes

To remove tea stains from coloured clothes, try to treat the garment right away, rather than letting it dry. Take a clean, damp paper towel or cloth and dab the stain until you have removed as much as possible. Make sure you dab — rubbing will only worsen the stain. Then, use Vanish Gold Oxi Action Stain Remover Gel or Vanish Gold Oxi Action Stain Remover Powder in these easy steps:

Step 1: Dissolve 1x cap of Vanish Gold Oxi Action Stain Remover Gel or 1x scoop of Vanish Gold Oxi Action Stain Remover Powder in 4L of warm or cold water (max 40°)

Step 2: Soak item for up to a maximum of 1 hour for colours or up to a maximum of 6 hours for whites

Step 3: Wash as usual with your detergent and add another scoop of Vanish Gold Oxi Action Stain Remover Powder or cap of Vanish Gold Oxi Action Stain Remover Gel in your washing machine

Important:

Before using Vanish Gold Oxi Action, you should always follow the usage instructions on the packaging and follow its care advice.

Step 1: Mix 1/4 scoop of powder with 3/4 scoop of warm or cold water (max 40°) into a paste.

Step 2: Gently rub the paste into the stain using the base of the scoop and leave for a maximum of 5 minutes

Step 3: Dissolve 1x scoop of Vanish Crystal White Powder in 4L of cold or warm water (max 40°) and soak the clothing in the solution for a maximum of six hours.

Important: While Vanish can be used to remove tea stains from t-shirts, jeans and even silk, you should always follow the usage instructions on the Vanish packaging. Do not use on finished or coated surfaces – for example wood, metals etc.
