Body Fluid Stain Removal
Body fluid stains can be a problem, especially for those of us with young babies/children and for anyone wearing a light shirt which can so often suffer from a dirty collar after a full day at the office. These stains can be treated and removed from your clothes with Vanish Oxi Action products. Follow the instructions below to achieve stain-free fabric.
HOW TO REMOVE BODY SOIL STAINS
To get body soil stains out, we recommend using Vanish Oxi Action Spray or Vanish Oxi Action Gel:
Vanish Pre Treatment Oxi Action Spray Spray directly onto the stained area, wait maximum 5 minutes and wash.
Important: Always follow the usage instructions on the Vanish packaging. Do not use on wool, silk or leather. Do not use on finished or coated surfaces – for example wood, metals etc.
Vanish Oxi Action Gel Apply the gel directly onto the stain, wait 5 minutes and wash normally adding one dose of Vanish Oxi Action Gel to your wash.
Soaking is recommended for tough and dried in stains. Add one dose (60ml) of Vanish Oxi Action Gel to 4L of warm water (Max 40°) and soak the stained fabric. Soak coloured items for max 1 hour and whites for max 6 hours. Wash as usual or rinse thoroughly.

Body Soil Stain Removal Tips
With most protein based stains e.g. body soil, it is important to put cold water on the stain. Heat can actually change the chemical structure of the protein stain, making it much harder to remove. Simply agitate and soak the stained item of clothing in cold water.

- Wash the stain under cold water as an initial treatment for the stain.
- Then once you have Vanish, follow the instructions above to completely remove the stain.
